The main menu of Ubuntu disappears when one connects to Ubuntu using xrdp

Follow instructions below to solve the problem

$ sudo apt-get install gnome-panel

$ echo "gnome-session --session=gnome-fallback" > ~/.xsession

$ sudo /etc/init.d/xrdp restart
